EnergyKit is a software system that manages household energy consumption incurred by certain appliances, including HVAC, hot water heater or dryer, while taking into account individual resident’s needs and preferences. It can fully automate energy optimization of some appliances (e.g. HVAC or hot water heater), while for others (e.g. dryer or dishwasher), it is designed to work in tandem with the residents to best fulfill their needs while still optimizing energy consumption. EnergyKit is aimed at lowering amount of energy incurred by the household.
